Secondary Metabolism and Plant Growth of Piper divaricatum (Piperaceae) Inoculated with Arbuscular Mycorrhizal Fungi and Phosphorus Supplementation

چکیده
Arbuscular mycorrhizal fungi (AMF) species and/or phosphorus addition in the soil can affect secondary metabolism production and growth plants. This study evaluated these effects on Piper divaricatum culture, which presents an essential oil rich phenylpropanoids. Growth parameters, leaf volatile composition, total phenolic content, enzymatic activity of lipoxygenase (LOX) phenylalanine ammonia-lyase (PAL) were monitored. At 90 days post inoculation (dpi), treatments with AMF + P more effective terms number biomass leaves. In addition, group had increased plant height root length. Phenylpropanoid methyl eugenol contents higher at 30 dpi association treatments. However, dpi, plants 20 mg·dm−3 200 mg P·dm−3 showed PAL activity, respectively. All LOX especially mg·dm−3. These results demonstrate that be applied to optimize compound P. divaricatum.

Effect of biochar on nitrogen retention in soil under corn plant inoculated with arbuscular mycorrhizal fungi
Maintaining the levels of nitrogen in agricultural fields to ensure crop yield performance is challenging due to the complex dynamics of nitrogen transformation in soil. Nitrogen is mainly taken up by plant roots in the form of nitrate, but it is considered as an environmental pollutant that threatens human and animal health. Therefore, it is necessary to use adsorbent compounds to retain nitra...
متن کاملYield and growth characteristics of sunflower cultivars inoculated by arbuscular mycorrhizal fungi under drought tension conditions
One of the new methods for optimum management and increasing the efficiency of water resources utilization in agricultural uses is the use of irrigation methods. Considering the importance of this issue, this research was carried out to determine the effect of mycorrhizal fungi on the yield of sunflower cultivars under drought tension conditions and as split split plots based on randomized comp...
متن کاملArbuscular Mycorrhizal Fungi and Alien Plant Species
The invasion success of alien plant species depends, amongst other things, on their functional traits [4] and the susceptibility of ecosystems. There is now increasing interest in including biotic interactions particularly mutualistic associations [5], into frameworks assessing alien plant invasions, as they help bridge the invisibility and invasiveness features. The great majority of terrestri...
متن کاملPlant coexistence mediated by arbuscular mycorrhizal fungi
Recent research has indicated the importance of arbuscular mycorrhizal fungi (AMF) in mediating plant coexistence. Coarse-scale studies compare the effects of the presence versus absence of AMF on plant coexistence, a phenomenon that is most relevant in early successional ecosystems where AMF are patchily distributed. By contrast, fine-scale studies investigate interactions that might occur onc...
